3 Year Old Program

Half-Day Hours

7:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.

Morning Arrival – Child’s Choice – Breakfast

Each morning begins with a friendly welcome as parents drop off their child. Three-year-olds are encouraged to explore classroom learning centers through free-choice activities that support independence and curiosity. Breakfast consisting of cereal and milk is served at 8:00 a.m. When weather permits, children enjoy outdoor play on the playground to promote social interaction and gross motor skill development.

Basic Preschool (9:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.)

The basic preschool portion of the day starts with circle time, helping children become comfortable with a consistent daily routine and active participation. Activities include daily art projects, alphabet practice, months of the year, days of the week, and counting from 1 to 25. The morning concludes with circle time and a teacher-led story connected to the weekly theme. A healthy snack is provided each morning, along with outdoor playtime when weather allows.

Lunch – Nap (1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.)

As midday approaches, children enjoy a balanced and nutritious lunch prepared to support healthy growth. After lunch, three-year-olds rest on their individual cots for approximately two to three hours, giving them time to relax and recharge.

Child’s Choice – Parent Pick-Up (3:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.)

Afternoons begin with another healthy snack, followed by curriculum reinforcement through age-appropriate worksheets. After completing their work, children enjoy story time, free play, and social interaction with peers. Outdoor playtime is also available until parents arrive for pick-up, supporting families needing extended afterschool care.

Music and Movement

Children participate in singing familiar and traditional songs while dancing and exploring simple musical instruments to encourage coordination, rhythm, and self-expression.

Monday and Friday (morning time)

Kids in Motion – Large Motor Skills Room

This program focuses on games, movement activities, and group play that support physical development, cooperation, and social skills.

Language Development

Each week focuses on a specific letter through hands-on art, songs, games, and conversation. These activities help children build vocabulary, improve communication skills, and strengthen early literacy.
